How to set up custom fields on your references?

The "custom field" feature allows you to add custom fields to your references and to store additional information about your products.

For example, if you need to enter the storage temperature of your products, you can create a custom field "Storage temperature".

To do this, simply click on the "Settings" tab and then on "Custom Field".

1) Create and manage your custom fields:

You will be able to manage your custom fields in the "Settings" section in the "custom field" tab

a) Creation :

To create a custom field, click on "+ New custom field". You will then arrive on a creation form.

Note :

The custom field ID is generated automatically based on the field name and cannot be changed after the custom field has been created

b) Edit / Delete :

To modify a custom field, simply click on the edit icon.

To delete a custom field you just have to click on the bin icon.

When deleting a custom field, a confirmation pop-up window is displayed with the number of references using the custom field.

2) Add and view custom fields on a reference :

Once a custom field has been created, you can add it to a reference when creating and editing the reference.

Once added to your references, you will find the values of your custom fields:

In the export of your references (excel/CSV), columns will appear according to the custom fields you have created.
