# How to archive old references?

When a reference is finally removed from storage, you can archive the reference to facilitate the creation of new orders.

In the "References" tab, two tables appear. In the "All references" table, all the references that have not been archived are shown. When one of these references is no longer in stock, a blue box will appear under the "Action" column. Simply click on this box and you will be asked to archive this reference.

To unarchive a reference, a table "Archived references" is available in the same tab "References". Click on the blue box in "Action" to unarchive the reference in order to make it available when creating input and output orders.
